A hands-on introduction to sneaker customization at Common Ground Studios.
In this class, you’ll learn how to prep, paint, and finish your own pair of sneakers using premium leather paints, materials, and tools. This workshop is designed to be approachable, creative, and beginner-friendly while still giving you a clean, wearable result.
Class time is approximately 3 hours, depending on your design and pace.
This workshop is scheduled around your availability and must take place over three consecutive days.
After purchasing, we’ll contact you by email to coordinate dates that work for your schedule and do not conflict with previously booked classes or studio events.
Each day typically runs from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Students are responsible for supplying their own donor soles.
Donor soles are typically harvested from a new retail pair of sneakers and used to build your custom pair. For example, if you’re making a Jordan 1 model, you’ll need to purchase a brand-new pair from an authorized retailer.
